House Rules

Posted 02 October 2026 Sheet date: 02/10 Operator: indtl app

Take a seat or leave the bench

By installing or using Melbay - Match Assistant you agree to sit in this booth under the following house rules. If you do not agree, leave the app on the bench and do not open it. These lines are the deal. They are not a pep talk.

1. What the booth is

Melbay is a sports information assistant. Live scores, schedules, and chat answers assembled from available sources and generated text. It is not a bookmaker. It is not a bank. It is not a newsroom with reporters in every stadium. It will not place a wager, cash a ticket, or swear an affidavit about a final whistle.

2. The chat is not a court

Answers can be late, thin, or wrong. Sport moves faster than any feed. A generated paragraph is not an official league record and not advice you should bet a night on. You decide what to trust. If a score on the glass in the arena disagrees with the booth, the glass wins.

3. Third-party tools

The product leans on third-party services: Firebase for infrastructure, Singular for attribution, OneSignal for pushes, and OpenAI for generating reply text. Their uptime and their rules sit outside our locker.

When you send a chat line, you send that line to be processed so an answer can come back. You do not send other users anything. There is no user-to-user pipe in this app. The developer does not run a swap meet of personal files. The most the house may hold is a unique technical id so tracking and pushes can find a device — not a biography.

4. Your conduct

Use the booth as a fan, not as a crowbar. No abuse of the service, no attempts to break it, no scraping it into something it is not, and no use that is illegal where you stand. Do not feed the chat content you have no right to send. The message box is for questions about sport, not for other people’s private lives.

5. Our conduct

We will try to keep the lights on. We may change a feature, pause a sport, restripe the interface, or post a new sheet of rules. If you keep using Melbay after a change, you have taken the new sheet. We may retire the app. Night ends.

6. Liability, in plain light

To the extent the law allows, Melbay is provided as-is. We are not liable for a missed kick, a bad line, a delayed push, or a decision you made after reading a chat reply. If a local law will not let a clause stand, that clause shrinks to the smallest shape the law still allows. The rest of the sheet stays up.

Questions about the house rules go there. Do not shout them into the match chat and expect a contract rewrite.
